Webcomics, why did you start one?

So my coworker Nate and I just started a new webcomic - Should\'ve Been Working. Im just wondering what motivated others to start their own comic? Who influenced them the most? What artistic/ writing trianing did you take, if you have any? Just trying to find out what drove others to put their creativity into a comic medium. Interested that\'s all.\r\nthanks.
