A weird thing happened to me this weekend. I was drawing (werl… painting, same difference), and I ended up drawing an old character of mine who's close to my heart. He was in my comic, years back, and I made almost two issues before the great crash of crimbo 2005 (?), was it…? And Drunk Duck lost everyone's comics. Oh, I had backups - of course I did - but I kinda got in a strop with my art and with a bunch of other things - let's say, it had everything to do with my life and nothing to do with the beloved ‘Duck… and I disappeared from this hallowed section of the interwebs for yonks.

Well. Now I’m back. I re-read the old comic I used to make back in the day, and I was surprised to find it wasn't complete and utter shite… and the comic bug bit down deep and hard in my heart, and dragged me back here. It's been a couple of years, and I've missed this place. It just took me a while to remember it.

In case any of you need reminding, I thought I might post a few clips of the old RLT here, for laughs. I hope no-one minds.

I guess this is just a message to say, well… hi. I'm back.

And… well, not to be too coy about it. I think my old comic might get restarted… at some point in the very near future. New and improved and ready to rock. I can't wait to get stuck in here again. And for all those of you who don't remember me (probably most everybody!) hello! I am looking forward to getting to know you all. :)

Ozone's still doing Pinky, Sarah's still making VP (But she had 100+ pages… then re-started…) And I've never heard of Gnoph, or Y.

I wonder what's it's like to come back to all this new stuff…

Werl, I've seen Oz about on dA once or twice… I know he's still alive and kicking down under at least. XD Sarah restarted VP AGAIN?!? Or was that for the first time…? how many times has she restarted it now…? Anyway, VP is friggin' awesome and I loves it hard. XD

Gnoph was an awesome weird watercolour comic made by… oh god, I can't remember her name but she was basically the coolest… and the tagline ran, “love, something, and internal parasites.” There were parasites. AND it was serious and had a real story! No really, it was the shit.
Y? was a furry lesbian comic that was very down to earth and entirely done in white and blue. It had such a personal, unpretentious storyline and such great art that it just made my day, everytime it updated. I think the author was french, but I might be wrong about that, because I'm a moron and my brainstuffs leak, regular like.

Coming back to this new stuff is… a bit odd. But I'm gonna meander around for a bit tonight, see who I remember and who I don't, see what's worth reading and what isn't. Do you remember me? Do I remember you? Do I know who the hell I am? Who knows…. XD

Wow. It's great to see you back on the Duck Pixie. it has indeed been a while. I definately remember The Road Less Travel;ed. I remember we both had certain characters that looked like they could have been separated at birth. I look forward to seeing what you do with RLS if you ever decide to start it back.
