It amazes me how well you were able to portray each angle in the most recent page of Rival Angels, especially with all of the detail that went into the scene!
By the time you finish this, you'll have read it. :3

You draw and color very well. Your art has a nice polished feel, and the characters are cute but not the I-wanna-gag kind of cute. Your art has come a long way in Fox Den. National Dex is very well-made. I love your take on Pokemon. They are Pokemon but still entirely in your own style, and the story and jokes are also fresh and mature – not what one would expect from a Pokemon comic.

I like the colouring on that last page there, usedbooks, good stuff. Not bad at all, subtle and that lends a good atmosphere to it :)

I definitely like the full page illustrations in The Chronicles of Wyrden. Not a lot of comics can make them work without it feeling like a filler page, but you manage it.

@lba: Your comic is so funny I started to show it around, including to my girlfriend. She instantly said that she needed to bookmark the comic, and wanted to sign up for Drunk Duck just to fave your comic. Daily hilarious pages.

LOL, I'm following you around the forums here.
Asshole…Great black and white comic, always very funny. The facial expressions never leave you wondering what's going on.
Temple is at least right now, hard hitting kung fu with people getting their asses handed to them. The story moves around without decompression or lagging.

I love the downtime in Rival Angels, as well as the colours and the art. The characters feel real to me, that's always something I look for.

Complimenting “The Chronicles of Wyrden” is quite easy, there are a lot of qualities in this comic… I'll only focus on the 2 of them.
1- The sketchy look matches the story well, putting the reader into the world of the comic. “The Chronicles of Wyrden” would not look better with another style.
2- The storytelling is just awesome, that's all I can say about it. The way Doctor Shadow develops the story is very cool.

Zero is deffinately my favourite mm character (of course Bass is a close second). It's nice to see an SC that doesn't have eye-blinding recolours. I also like that you used pictures other than sprites. It adds an interesting touch that isn't seen to often. I do wish that your pannel layouts were better. I noticed that, in some cases, you had to number the pannels because they were so scattered. Next time, maybe you could try working with a set space, pretend like you're using a sheet of paper for your comic rather than the copy and paste bottons. Then, just use the parts of the pictures that you need, by cropping and resizing. That way, you won't have to much negative space. One more thing I would like to see is backgrounds. I noticed that yours tended to be just solid colours. Anyway, if you can do all that, you'll be up on the list with some of the better spriters on this site. ^_^

There's a lot of fun and bright art in Mosaic. The story is cool, who doesn't like Ninjas? The art is always expressive and the sound effects make me laugh more often than not because of how clever they are.

I don't know how many comics there are that star female wrestlers, but Rival Angels is easily one of the best I've ever seen. The plot flows naturally and logically, with a good pace, and the art is fabulously old-school. Simply a great read, even if you have no interest in wrestling.

The Chronicles of Wyrden has some amazing artwork, great cross hatching, and fantastic tone set by the solid black and white linework. The story is also very kick ass! It's a great comic all around! :D

I've always had a thing for epic storytelling, great triumphs and great losses. Temple of a Thousand tears captures this in a very sharp, dynamic way. It's a gritty read with some really good moments.

I haven't quite made it through all of the archives, but what I've seen so far is really awesome. A number of great things about this comic stuck with me: the amount of detail put into each page, the memorable characters, the style, the dialogue, and of course, the story… I have to keep up with this one :)

My first time looking at Morph Man. Long archive, so I didn't have a chance to read it all, but I checked out the latest fight and some of the first pages. I can see a lot of improvement in the art, especially the color. The blood looks cool. The most recent page gave me a laugh (as unfortunate as it is for that guy), especially considering how serious the fight was up to that point. (Really, I didn't see that little “whoops” coming!)

Used books is a great read. There's always some meaty substance on every page and that keeps the story and my attention going. The characters are thoroughly complex which adds to the realism. And Vickie isn't afraid to give the characters some imperfections to really bring it home when it comes to empathizing with them.
Off Hours is just a fun read. Crazy storylines, with a rotating cast and rotating art. Always good stuff. Never dull or boring.

Rival Angels is a sweet comic, filled with action and heart-pounding battles whenever the ladies are in the ring (did I mention that it's about female wrestlers - HOT!), and perlious drama among the competitors when they're out on the town. Currently the ladies are meeting their rivals in the bar (the Hell's Belles).
Quite simply, this comic is awesome and you should fave it right now.

Temple of a Thousand Tears has really picked up, I especially liked the battle with The Man With Beady Eyes. The recent development of the Swordsman as a character has really added to the story. The short of it is I'm addicted!

I love the vibrant colors and amount of detail in the background in Rival Angels. The different angels you use in the panels are also well done (y'know, having a bird-eye view rather than a regular frontal view, etc.).

You do a great job with toning. Both Faust and Chimera have lovely lineart and beautiful soft shading. The body language and facial expressions are also very moving and effective. The stories both really draw me in, especially the characters. They are very thoughtful, deep, intense… in a dramatic and real way. It's been a while since I've looked at them, but I need to make time to give a full read through for both of them. Keep up the excellent work.

I couldn't resist answering this one. Those are actually coming eventually, believe it or not :) The novel, Fate's Hand, that's in editing in the US atm.

The latest page of Come Meet Yourself was so interesting (but nothing was explained), that I had to go back a page. When it wasn't explained there either, my interest was intensified and went back yet another page. When I finally got to the question that was being answered, then I understood the reason for the intensity - and my interest was sated! Great way to create interest and drama among your updates, to keep people hooked and coming back for more!
