Robots. Im sure we can kill off monkeys and dolphins before they evolve the intelligence to make guns…

i think they are getting smarter, the ones they use for scientific research(not experimnetation) to do various things such as that monkey that was sent to space. and the ones we teach sign language.
They aren't getting any smarter, though. Once you teach a gorilla sign language, what happens to it? It dies. It doesn't pass on its language in the genes- it doesn't teach other gorillas. It just dies. All the hard work that went into teaching a gorilla to mimic hand gestures is just… gone. It's ridiculous. The onlything smart about it is that the gorilla is learning what it has to do to get the damn banana.
This is not them evolving to become smarter. This is man having nothing to do with his free time.
