Hi!

Much as I hate repeating a phrase that would have been heard time and time again in these forums - I'm new at DrunkDuck with my comic, Redemption - also a new undertaking for me. I'm enjoying finally taking the step of getting into a webcomic community rather than just enjoying everyone else's work on the web.

As in my title - I'm from New Zealand. Ki ora. According to timezones, that means I exist in your future. :D

So hello. I'm looking forward to learning the ropes around the place.

Updates Thursdays.

Whats the future like? Do you have flying cars yet? How did global warming turn out?

Your comic is beautiful, by the way. I look forward to seeing more. :)

Only 30 minutes, Puff? Well I can tell you now we're having some pretty good weather here in the not-so-distant-at-all future. Hopefully it'll come your way in half an hour.

(::hangs head in shame::)
I'm sorry, Bocaj. I really am. I'm sorry that we pronounce it ‘Zee’ and that the letter exists in the name of my country that I shall not repeat. Anywhosit - Hi to you, too!

No flying cars yet, KingofSnake, but actually we bear a disproportionate brunt of global warming since we're relatively close to the Antarctic. Surprisingly, global warming didn't turn out quite like we thought it would in the future. It was less global and had more penguins.

Hi, Gothelin! Hey thanks for the kudos on my comic. I'm pretty new at this so I drink up all encouragement like a pathetic artistic sponge, heh. :D You're an Aussie? Great! You're like my internet neighbour or something!

Updates Thursdays.

Steriogram is fantastic! My brother was walking down the street when they randomly stopped in a car and asked him if he wanted to be part of their music video. Awesomeness.

Oh, there are quite a few people that say “New Zealand… thats like, in Australia - right?” (-_-) It was great when I went to Hawaii, though. I ran into a few people who were like: “ah jast lauv year ahccents! Noo Zeeland? Thats beelow Austrahliah, raight?” – bang on! (That's just how her accent sounded to me. I really liked it, but I don't know what state she was from :) ).

Waitaminute… we say ‘Zed’, not ‘Zee’…? Gosh its been so long since I sang the alphabet song. Plus, I learned it from Sesame Street so I say both. :P

I tole you it'd be good weather, yes? :D

Oh yea? Well I'M from New Jersey! And… uh…

hmmm…

uh… we got some trees. And you can gamble, but only at like, 2 of the beaches.

And while you're in my future, do me a favor, and tell whoever keeps sending me messages about the end of the world, to leave me alone, I'm not interested in buying anything

I wish MY introduction thread was as popular as this ( ._.)
I'm Jon. You can call me Dr. Jon… but I prefer Jon since I'm not really a Doctor.

My favorite song is probably Walkie Talkie Man (even though that may be very unoriginal).
Have you seen the music vedio for that song?
I love Machiel Gandre (or however you spell his name).

Hey, wow, I'm a kiwi too and… oh, I see that you've already PQed me. Well, seeing as there isn't some sort of way to not post this message, it's totally awesome to see someone else who, like, comes from my country?

Sure thing, RustyKnight. I'll make sure he stops bothering you. (attempts to crack knuckles). Popular…? S:| I think it might just because I reply to people's posts and it jumps to the top again…
Oh, and thank you so much for your awesome comments on my comic!

You SHOULD be glad that you ran, Gothelin. You should be. >:D

Bocaj - yes, I've seen the video clip for it – and its fantastic! I'm pretty sure its the one where everything's made out of wool, right? Craaaazy. I don't know how to spell his name, but I agree; that man is cool.

Hello thar yaarself, Revan! Thanks for the welcome!

Awww I'm just chuffed to be greeted again. ^^ Thanks, Eunice.

I'm just quick, Sando. :D Its fantastic to see another NZer on here… please excuse me if I curl up into an isolated fetal position every so often. A couple more NZ DD members might cure me permanently… ;)

Updates Thursdays.
