Very true, my good sir. I almost prefer to not even have the lists at DD. I just like the Gigcast bar and my favorites. The lists are too fluid for me to give much of a damn.

I remeber when I got to be #1…

I was the summer of ‘05. The light, warm breeze made the green leaves of the trees rustle with the passing energy from leaf to leaf. The clouds were scarce, yet full enough to protect one’s face from the the harsh sun. I was young, naive, thinking I could get to the top of it all. Little did I know that it would all crash down around me, and that those leaves would turn darker and fall off the trees. And that the wind would become harsh. And the sunlight would dull until it was only a cruel imitation of it's former glory…

I like the lists on the front page, not because of the ranking system, but because it at least put's comic names out there for people to see and potentially look at - I always peruse the new titles, looking for something that catches my interest :)

Came out of the haze of my current project to brush up on where webcomics are going. I…am not pleased.

Me neither. I resurrected Mad World, because I thought the world of comics would be a warm and inviting place. But le sigh, she is a cold, toothless bitch.
