Just wanna introduce myself to the DD Community. Name is Joey and I first read about this site (like many) in last month's Wizard. Was very excited to learn of it's existence, as I've been looking for exactly this sort of Forum to help me find a person capable of assisting me with a project I'm ready to undertake.

As a lifelong fan of Gary Larson, I've naturally become a great admirer of online web comics of that ilk. I'm looking to hire an artist that will help me enter the realm of Larson-esque web comics. I have written 1-3 panel ‘scripts/jokes’ and have sketched out thumbnails that sorta ‘camera-block’ my ideas for the strip. I've recently been speaking to a Web Designer mutual friend who has sent me a quote/spec I requested for work on a site. It's about time I find a guy that can draw!

Basically, I'm no artist. And I need a creative partner who not only shares my vision for this sort of comic, but can sketch and color finished-product, ready-to-publish-on-our-site strips. I'm not looking for freebie work…this is a hobby of mine that I'm willing to pay an artist for the work that we publish.
