I am 80% sure this is in the wrong section.
But anyways…
Everyone I know that has photoshop, stole it. They found a keygen on a website, entered it, then BAM! Free photoshop.
I did the same thing, but the code just shut down Adobe photoshop, and then whenever I open it, it says “License for this product has expired” and then it closes.
Why is it doing this? I reinstalled and everything and it still happens. Why is it doing this? And how can I fix it?
Oh, and If anyone can provide a link for free photoshop CS4, that would be great as well.
I posted this a while ago. (Like, before the crash), but everyone said they didnt know.

Hey, I have an excellent idea. Let's all pay for our software so these companies don't go out of business! :D

It's not a bad idea, but photoshop does charge a grand for CS4, unless you upgrade from an older copy. From what I heard (and this is pure speculation) they make enough off legit sales to cover the cost of low-end theft. Basically all the DeviantArt graphic designers arent hurting Adobe's wallet much by taking it for free.
Then again I cant really say how true that is. You could always go get GIMP. Although GIMP sucks.

Yeah, they do charge a lot…and I guess I shouldn't be talking. I actually got mine for free, albeit legally. My dad's work bought me Adobe Design Premium CS4 cos I animate molecules and crap for him.

It's telling you why it isn't accepting your code and is shutting down. Because your code is bad. The fix is to use a legitimate code.
Adobe products can be bought more cheaply if you are a student, but to be fair, Adobe is a program for professionals and is far more powerful than 80% of the people who use it, need it to be. People just use it because it's well known.
There are half a dozen software programs out there which work perfectly well for what most webcomic people need, and are either free, very inexpensive, or have free trials to see if you want to use it. GIMP, MangaStudio, Opencanvas, Paint Tool SAI, etc. fire1337, you make sprite comics. You will be fine with GIMP. It's widely used and completely free. CS4 isn't goint to add anything for you.
We don't promote the download and use of pirated software here, so I'm going to lock this thread. If you want information about software you've stolen, go to a warez site. Try not to let your computer catch swine flu. :]
