Wait… i think in Spider-girl this week they announced the death of the symbiote on Scorp! er… I think? I used a basis as www.samruby.com for a complete history of the characters, among others…
just in case anyone else wants to give this a shot and might not have comics for an idea of what to do or color schemes, etc… it's really nice. It has a database of every god forsaken spidey book…! Whew! :)

Yeah, spidergirl isn't in 616 (normal) continuity. Its just an expansion of an old what if. So its about as in continuity as “what if the punisher killed spider-man” : P, Ugh all this stuff gets confusing.

I'm having trouble thinking of what to do with my page exactly. Putting the comic in modern continuity kinda threw me.
I'm a comic fan (a spidey fan to boot), so i'm all up-to-date with my Civil War books and what-not, but there's still a lot of ramifications of putting it in continuity.
Not only the previously mentioned Scorpion issue, but there's also the bit with Norman going on in “Civil War: Frontline”, as well as Myserio, who's a new person behind the bowl, and has a storyline going on right now in “Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman”.
But don't worry, as soon as I figure what to do, i'll get the page done lickety-split. It doesn't take me long to do the art, so just bear with me as I fugure out just what to even draw.

wouldn't it be easier and allow for more flexible and creative stroyline if you don't actually connect it with any specific event such as Civil War?

Yeah, we can just pick and choose what we want in continuity. Makes it easier for those who aren't reading spidey every month.
