We're excited to share some big news…and a big opportunity for talented Comic Book artists out there!

At the NY Comic Con on April 18 we launched an original Sci-Fi superhero Comic Book series called “New-Gen,” that's being distributed through Marvel Comics. (http://www.new-gen.info/). As part of the launch, we're looking to discover and reward a “New Generation” of comic book artists through a fun competition, “Draw Your Fate…The NEW-GEN Challenge.” We hope you'll encourage all the artists you know to enter this online competition…and we encourage you to participate by checking back and voting for your favorite entry. Artists, ages 13 and up, can submit an original character they've drawn, and a description of their powers, to be entered to win some great prizes and gain some public notoriety for their work. The finalists will even be judged by Jedi Judge Mark Hamill.

Is there a deadline for this contest?? I checked out the website and didn't happen to see any date. Maybe I overlooked it..?

the deadline was going to be june 20th, but we decided to extend it until august. the exact dates are not set yet, but you should def give it a shot if your interest. several great prizes are available to the winners and is also a great opportunity to gain some public notoriety, esspecially when Marvel is watching.
