Hey there. I'm Eric Jones, and I've been working with a great artist by the name of Erick Marquez, on a project we entered into the Comic Book Challenge. (Our plug post is in the look-what-i-did forum).

I've been an aspiring writer for many years, and Erick actually makes money with his paint brush. I've written two novels (which are unpublished as of yet, but hopefully soon, and I won't plug them here either), and worked up our comic book project The Ring of Auberon. It's coming along great, and really works well with Erick's art style. So check us out, and get to know us… we want to make friends, meet folks who do the type of things we do, and get exposure! Chat, correspondence, and feedback are always appreciated!

I'm enjoying looking through the boards, and I've noticed a lot of CBC newbies (and old timers!) as well. It's great being able to see some of the competition, and it looks like it's going to be a tough one this year…

So keep on writing and drawing, everyone… I'm already loving this place!

Its a good place to be. It gets you into the webcomic comunity without having to spend thousands on maintaining a webpage, and spending more thousands on adverts for every search engine and popular web comic out there. Good to have you aboard!
