Hello! My name is Futch (which was the name of a video game character before it was ever slang for anything), and I have a great idea for a web comic. I have a lot of the story planned out, but unfortunately I pretty much suck at drawing.

The comic takes place in a present day small town, USA (not the actual name of the town), but with heavy paranormal themes. Two of the three main characters are gay (boys) and this is a main theme of the comic, so if you are uncomfortable with LGBT themes, this comic isn't for you. Basically the main characters, outcasts in their incredibly conservative and intolerant town, suddenly find themselves caught up in a war between mysterious forces way beyond the small world they know, and are pretty much the only ones who can save their town, and possibly the world, from destruction or despair.

The main message I will be trying to preach (yes, I have a message), is tolerance and open-mindedness. The comic will be very heavy-handed with this message and will no doubt be labeled “Liberal Agenda” by conservatives, if it ever becomes popular enough to be labeled. There is another, almost as important message that proves that their are two sides to every war and that there is no such thing as absolute good or absolute evil.

I cannot pay you right away (sorry, but I'm a poor college student), but if the comic ever takes off, which I definitely think it can, all profits from the site or merchandise, or any money that is made from the web comic at all, will be split down the middle. Basically, I'm not looking to hire an artist as much as I'm trying to find a partner to partake on a venture with me.

Exactly how long do you think this will be? Like, how many issues (and how many pages each)? How much is already planned and scripted? Would I be able to see a part of the script? Is there a particular art style that you're looking for (ie: realism or manga / coloured or toned / organic or digital and so on)?
