Hi Bongo!

Please note - We dropped the “E” in Avaste Ye! To make it “Avast Ye!”.

The extra “E” was an intentional misspelling as it was actually going to be explained in the story line and had several functions;

*It made google searches easier. Trying to keep up on who is viewing what and looking for a “buzz” about your writing is hard to do with common phrases. The extra “E” set us apart.

*Copyright - There are other pirate type things out there called “Avast ye!” and I didn't want copyright and naming fights. However, upon a bit of research “Avast Ye” is a phrase, and is akin to trying to say that because your sight is named “Dude”, anyone who says dude is copying off of you. Yay legal stuff.

*Fred was a “wanna-be” pirate. So of course he wouldn't pronounce “Avast Ye!” correctly, leading to a few skits where he was called on it, it was explained..etc.

But the dude made a SHIP out of a HOUSE.

That's pretty friggin' piratey right there, so I decided that he probably got a book on how to be a pirate, or at least took an online course in piracy - so his pronounciation should be pretty good.

Now..to get famous, or at least REALLY popular. Because I want action figures.
