Interesting. I hadn't read Spark before. Not in the main storyline, but there might be a place for a cameo for him towards the end. We'll see.—Al

If you're still looking for cameo fodder, I'd be honored to have Lady Spectra -)

I think we can waive the law against duplicating heroines with bucket heads in this case. *Grin* Making no promises, right now we're in the middle of something where it will be hard to bring in someone else, but we might have a place for a cameo in a crowd scene (think Crisis on Infinite Earths) towards the very end. —Al

I seem to take large breaks in even reading comics, let alone posting to their forums.

Anyway, from what I have read, the progression is as such:
Universe
Multiverse
Megaverse
Omniverse

Therefore, I gave Tempore a smattering of worlds, and said he has a multiverse. I would think a way he could be included would be his refusing to help Ringo in his ordeals, because of his own problems. However, I recognize that he has no comic, and that can be difficult. It's just–I have no ability to draw, and he would not be the center of his own comic, just an influential character.

I wish I could have gotten in here in time to be a part of the cover for “The Mourning”. At least my Pride High characters could fit in that context.

Anyways, I still like the comic, no matter my inability to get in it. Of course, if I am able to actually get a comic running, I'll hope to get it into crossovers.

Oh, and I have tried Heroes Unite and Heroes Alliance. The former seems to be in a freeze–not taking any more characters–and the latter is stalling quite a bit. Besides, they don't really want to hop universes yet in Heroes Alliance, and so it's harder to get things accepted.

I feel like I'm whining just a little.

Hi, my name is Jim Cleaveland, and I produce “The Inexplicable Adventures of Bob!” a serialized science fiction humor strip at http://bobadventures.comicgenesis.com

If you have any use for him at this late date, you are welcome to use Bob, or any of his supporting cast or settings. I would have contacted you sooner, but I was under the impression that you were only looking for “super heroes” per se. Bob Smithson is nominally the “world's most average man,” and yet through odd circumstance he keeps saving the world from disaster again and again and again.

His life was relentlessly if comfortably dull for years, until the day he suddenly and with no apparent explanation (hence the title) became a weirdness magnet. Now paranormal things happen to him almost daily. Spaceships crash into his roof, unicorns come to graze in his yard, world-destroying weapons get dropped on his doorstep, megalomaniacs keep getting him mixed up in their schemes. Bob sees it all through with surprising grace, for despite his seemingly infinite normalcy, he does have a few outstanding qualities: he is very decent and kind, he has an uncommon amount of common sense, he is brave even if he doesn't go looking for trouble (it always seems to find him), and he's a little too thick-skulled to really grasp the awesome implications of things he encounters on a regular basis.

The strip's big running gag is that large objects keep crashing into Bob's roof. These are usually alien spaceships, but they can be anything at all: so far he's had a giant tentacled monster, an American rocket, a giant ray cannon, a giant unicorn's rear, and a blimp all destroy his roof. So… if a large object or character were to get thrown off-panel (perhaps into a dimensional warp), it would be quite reasonable for it to crash into Bob's roof. In all likelihood he would be nearby, look up, smack his face, and say, “Not again…” At any event, the officially ultimate “average guy” seems like he might not be too hard to work into a cameo. I hope ^_^;

If you've any use for a villain, for that matter, the series's main recurring baddie is a semi-humanoid moth-like alien named Fructose Riboflavin, who wants to overthrow the emperor of the Nemesite Space Empire. (Earth is in the middle of said empire, but is unaware of it).

Here are character turnarounds of Bob and his friends:

Here's a typical roof crash incident:

And here are extended character descriptions (Bob is on page 1, Riboflavin is on page 2):

Thanks! I hope it's not too late!

We'll see, Jim. I'll look over your characters and see if there's any place they'd comfortably fit. Thanks for volunteering your cast of characters, though!—Al

Odd you should ask. I've just started drawing Spark, New Girl, and Lady Spectra and Sparky right now. Late next week.

I am not involved in the creation of either of these so I can't give any kind of permission for cameos or anything, but I thought I'd point out Jump Leads (http://www.jump-leads.com/) which features a self-appointed “Reality Police” who could be worth a mention or even a cameo and Scenes From A Multiverse (http://amultiverse.com/) which is a tour throughout all sorts of crazy locations in all kinds of different universes one or two of which might make a good backdrop for some adventure.

I obviously don't know what kind of cameos we might expect from the Crossoverkill story, but I think both of these comics are worth checking out in any case.
