I should be home by now, but I figure I'll need a few days to get my head sorted and get a few pages of the comic done so I shall continue to set up these pre-done sketch “updates”!
Here are some of sketches from a comic idea I want to do after GT, called Lady in Waiting. It's based on kinda a Tudor England thingy. (Such specifics!) Character designs are subject to change!
The main character is the girl with the dark hair tied behind her head. Her name is Claira and she's on one of the bottom most rungs of the nobility, living in the country, spending most of her days out communing with nature. Then one day the king is hunting near her home and her father saves the king's life during an assassination attempt. As thanks to the family for his service he arranges it that Claira becomes the lady in waiting to the Princess Alexandra (the blonde girl).
So the country girl is whisked away to the royal court where she is quickly overwhelmed and wrapped up in the intrigue. She feels an the outsider until she meets the Inventor (the guy, the poofy hair was only for a little while, until I came to my senses), who is looked down upon in the court for his eccentricity. The pair fall in love (nerddd loooove) and things appear to be going well for Claira until the discovers one of Princess Alexandra's secrets - the knowledge of which could be both their ruin.
I don't know whether to do this, or Musk next. You'll see Musk in the next SKETCH EXTRAVAGANZA (are you still here??) so maybe you can give me your opinions on which you'd like to see sooner.
