Hello all!
My name is Eric Mack and I just joined this web community based on a reccomendation from a friend. I'm not sure if this is exactly the place or even if I'm doing this correctly but bare with me! I have started work on an animated webcomic aptly named “Somewhere in the Desert” that follows the tale of a lone man in his struggle for survival in the unforgiving wastes.

I don't want to bore you with a long introduction post, but I do have one question. I have noticed that if I submit my comics as a .gif file in the area where it instructs me to “Choose a file”, the animation will not play. therefore I have taken to uploading the comic in the description box. However this presents the problem of advertisements overlapping it and what not. I'd just like to know if I'm doing something incorrectly in regards to this. Thank you for reading!

Hi Dreameater/Eric, er, Eric, the Dreameater
and welcome

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your very good question about .gif uploads. There's no probs about posting questions hither and anon – other than you might not get your question answered by a welcome wagon when it's a tad more tekky-involved.

I suggest you post in the “Help, Support and Suggestions” forum (go ahead and start a new thread) or even under the "Rave " thread under the General Discussion forum – which very frequently has a breathing body reading it.

Best wishes for Somewhere in the Desert!
