Please take note of my comic Good Sir Cat. It's labelled “Adventure” but it takes forays into comedy, drama, action, horror, and even romance.
I'll say its strengths are the depth of the characters and their expessiveness and the dialogue. The art is simple and borders on storyboarding, but I believe it provides all the necessary information required to convey the emotion and advance the story.
The art featured below is a cross-genre conceptual piece. The actual story takes place in a pseudo-medieval world.
