Things look bad for me right now because I am heading to court for a serious trespassing charge caused by mom and her crusades and pissing off judges so I am just going to bring up something I really love to do but couldn't figure out how without sounding like a stereotypical nerd going “normies”.
That's a kind of a comic that explores a comic fan trapped in circles that openly hate, loath, misunderstands and demonizes nerd things.
And this isn't saying stuff like people who like sports because it feels like they get grouped in too.
Basically I want to write and vent about my experiences of being constantly trapped in places like rural Texas where the usual people I ran into are only interested in being a wannabe survivalists or hiding from society to being stuck with wannabe gangbangers that couldn't hack it in Baltimore to being surrounded by homeless people who were heavy into politics without cause.
I want to look at why I hate the idea of normal because it feels like people who want it live in this 1950's sitcom mentality and get very irrationally angry at the idea of movies being cartoons, trans people existing, politics aren't good for us 24/7 and that maybe regular people do enjoy a lot of things deemed nerdy and the old guard should let go.
If you don't hear from me for a while things gone horribly wrong, but hopefully I will get to make this.
What do you got think?
(Edit: got a stay of execution, but my question still stands).

what would be your status quo to bring all these types together? a school? a job at a diner? a bunch of roommates?
is it going to be like bloom county or gary trudeau's doonsbury

I am thinking job at the airport because that's where I met so many like minded individuals in a place after spending a literal decade semi-isolated in a hyper conservative area in West Texas, how it feels like culture shock.
As for style, I might do a page or two on the subject(s) of not only how at times it feels like to be the outsider but kind of how at times what so many people think is “normal” is very, very messed up.

To quote Geordi La Forge (or probably miss-quote him) from the movie Star Trek Generations: “What is normal?”
