oops, i meant how distructive the new weapon was for him not to give it to the federation. the proton decay bomb was tested within his home universe. so yeas this weapon ghost is about to use is untested. gives me chills :D

Um, what you just said has a little hole in it. You see, if the federation received the weapon that Ghost is about to use, then they probably would have tested it, just like humanity tested the atomic bomb. The only reason that this weapon isn't ever tested is because the researcher decided to keep the only available copy to himself, as well as all the knowledge of how it was made.

exactly, hk. succinctly put. :) one of the things i tossed out in an earlier chapter was that someone shipped over a proton decay bomb in with the fun missles. a weapon specificly designed not to stop as long as there was matter to connect with. this was tested within his home universe. and whole galaxies came apart slowly at the seams. if they were willing to do that, just imagine how distructive this one has to be for him to not turn it over to the federation.

Actually I don't think anyone ever believed some bomb will not stop - but there was serious question if it stop BEFORE destroying whole Earth. It needed to be calculated for both "normal" and thermonuclear bomb ... Of course weapons available to walking black holes could have much more destructive effects ...
