Depression can be very harsh from what I hear. It just pulls and aches inside. like invisible chains you can't even touch. It plays with your guilt and pain, even when you've done nothing to deserve to suffer. And it's worse when others you should be able to trust just push it further. I've known one or two who have gone through some depression, and felt such harsh sadness that it hurt them almost literally. One person even wanting to run away and risk so much. But support goes a long way to helping, and even just lending a kind ear. Just being there for someone for a time can help so much.
Very glad that the police were actually helpful for once, instead of being an annoyance. Most good cops realize when an innocent person is in serious danger, and their prejudices go away for a little while so they can respond appropriately. Also very nice to hear that you found your cat, I was worried that my next care package to you wouldn't look right without any cat treats inside. I seriously hope he leaves you alone in the future, and you might want to consider a restraining order so things go more smoothly with the police if he does show up again.
I'm glad that she has at least one furry friend she can rely on. Really wish there was someone (besides her son) that she trusted enough to share a room or apartment with at least.
It shows how much that little cat really like her that she was able to find her so quickly. Most people don't get their pets back when they get that badly scared.
Family can cause more pain than anyone else, because they are closer, and know exactly how to do it.
But the family that you didn't choose does not define you nearly as much as the friends that you have chosen.
I know that most of us are just pixels on a screen. But we do care, as much as we can. Please don't hurt yourself. I, for one, hope to meet you someday, however unlikely that may be (3000 miles away).
But I hope that the sound of a Harley is not one of the sounds that make you afraid. You might hear mine someday!
Personally, I find that deep rumble rather comforting.
But you have a lot of people on your side that wish you well.

Is your son doing all right after all of this? Does he know what's happened?
