If the area you're parked in allows it, put a couple canopies or sun shade sails over your trailer. A tarp will work too but doesn't look as nice. As long as there's an air gap between the shade and the trailer (use boxes if you need), the sun's energy will go into heating up the shade, not your trailer. The excess heat will be carried away by air blowing across the shade instead of transferred inside your trailer as happens when sunlight strikes your trailer roof. An awning will have the same effect on the side of your trailer receiving the most sunlight, but those can get expensive.
good idea .. but they wont let one put up tarps .. they feel it looks un attractive ..so in direct sun till late in the day then get some shade from a tree behind my camper.. which helps..
Wow. I can really relate. After I got out of the Marine Corps I gave up on life for a while and wound up homeless $20,000 later. I know you go to dark places sometimes... But you survived homelessness. While raising a kid. You didn't give up even when you wanted nothing more. You fixed a sink and survived using fire, tents, and heaters, and intelligence! And all the while you helped others and brought that much more joy to people's lives. Most people can barely manage to even do one of those things, if they can at all. And you did it all while wearing a cat hat. Whether you see it or not, you are a rare and amazing person. The world honestly needs more people like you. All the stuff you've been through, even just one thing, would have made most people give up. On top of that your art style is really enjoyable. And the best part is no one can take any of that from you! You're awesome, friendo. P.S.: just remember, if the zombie apocalypse ever does happen you'll rock that shit!

Water's the best for cooling off, but if you're drinking a lot of water, have a Gatorade or the generic equivalent once in a while too, so you don't lose too much salt or other electrolytes. We have some local roads with trees on both sides that arch over the middle, they're really cool in both senses of the word. We've had some 90+ degree days here near Pittsburgh but we usually have highs in the upper-80's for July and August. I hope you and your kitty are coping OK with the recent heat, the fan and AC unit should be making it bearable. Do you take the cat out for exercise or does she mostly stay in the trailer? I'll remember that you like ice cream next week...
I take cat out but she gets scared easy.. and fights with other cats and dogs.. I got some Gatorade and been getting ice.. so have something cool to drink in the afternoon .. hugs
