wearing mask. i am sternly told to do it properly at work.(since it is a project to see if we do need to wear them and i can't go deeper in it yet.)
move it down when you need to drink or eat. if you can use straw for drinks.
I can't wear the mask over my nose, when i breathe my glasses fog up and I can't see anything. Not sure why someone would wear it on their head. As for the neck/beard thing I see people at work do it during break time
You can get anti-fog sprays and drops made for scuba masks. Just put some on your glasses. You might first want to test to make sure it doesn't eat the anti-reflective coating off. (Spit works too, but leaves streaks.)
I have the same problem with the mask causing my glasses to fog up. Because my nose is long and skinny. (More like a beak really.) I found that the N95 masks that have a exhalation valve to let my breath out can prevent that. Because the valve reduces the back pressure enough that my steamy breath doesn't blow out past my nose. Here is my current favorite. http://youtu.be/pOnZFhxuw44 Good luck finding one right now. Also if you plan to reuse any mask. Be sure to wash your hands before putting it on. And again before taking it off. Each time.
Not sure improper mask use is 'useless'. Still serves as a reminder to both wearer and others to use caution, but distinctly less useful than worn properly.
Same with people wearing gloves then touching everything, really.
First let me say... AH good! I've been worried about you, I've been following "A Little More Humiliation" and... well, I was a bit worried. An update like this here allays my worst fears.
Second, after reading what XKCD (webcomic) says about face masks (and a sign) I have come to the conclusion that the face masks are more to remind people we are in the middle of a pandemic and not to breathe on other people, more so than to actually protect against a virus that (some people argue) is smaller than the spaces between the fibers of said mask.
Regardless of which side of the argument some people are on, wearing face masks like the ones described here completely undermines their purpose and just makes the wearer look silly and/or stupid, depending on how cynical one is.

pinch the bridge of your nose when you got the mask on to adjust it a bit. it will fog lesser.

I saw a comment on Twitter, "I never imagined that one day I'd be wearing a mask and asking a bank teller for money".
