Our site looks old fashioned.
We need a re-design of the look and feel of the site, but KEEPING the same functionality. Some of it needs improving but if we keep it, it makes things WAAAY cheaper.
So I want to ask the DD community to please come up with some visual mockups of how the site can look better.
Updated and Modernised!
With a nice new looking front page, forums, user control panel etc.
Think about colour themes, usability, and layout but try not to make things too busy.
Also think about making it a modular design that can work well on different sized screens (mobile, huge TV, tablet).

These looks really cool! :) Cant wait for the new layout. I'm a horrible graphics designer or else i'd pinch in too!

I know but I found your pic inspiring... The thumbnails I have in my version are a bit bigger than they currently are and would triple in size on a mouse-hover. Ironscarf has made a concept with even bigger thumbnails based on my version: http://i.imgur.com/IWeDMwd.png Anyway, I actually really liked the sloppiness in your concepts. :)

Oh gods, that's not my proposed concept! It's just an example from Webtoons! All I did was paste our thumbnails over their banner to show how scrunched our content is! (๑ Д ๑)

I'd try but I really am lazy and I tend to sleep when I am not working which is sad. But I am sure you guys will get something really nice going. By the way the only thing I really notice is things like just updated only shows me what's in the line. And then a filter link. Anyway to make it so I can see more than just what's appeared in the line. I know I miss some good comics out there but filtering isn't helping me much with who updated . :( like I said I am hardly awake when not at work so I miss a lot.
