Juliet stares blankly at the neighboring table where Whiteheart, a golden-haired gentleman sporting a mysterious scar running down the left side of his face sits surrounded by swarms of women. Her idle gaze returns to Don, this evening’s dinner date set up by her mother. Donny is a classmate at the same University as Juliet and has spent the majority of the night talking about himself and seems to know detailed information about the dilapidated apartment Juliet manages. The topic of discussion suddenly switches to magic, immortals, and the mysterious tenant Juliet selected to occupy the Apartment on Lenora who may just be the last elf in the world.

The art is fully colored in a comic book story format. The layout is a hybrid of narrative prose overlaying comic panels with traditional speech bubbles. The period clothes and title fonts are reminiscent to the art nouveau period of the 1890s.
