June Santiago, Clover Cristina Condray, and Simone are three best friends living in a fantastical world filled with retro arcades and chonky, gigantic winged rabbits. An avid reader of comics, June is in love with comic book superhero, Garlic Man, whom she wishes to marry one day. While playing games at the arcade, Clover locks eyes with a green stranger named “Zane” wearing a facemask and is instantly smitten. There is something odd about “Zane” and his attempt to blend in like a normal human in order to find out more about them. June and Simone are not easily swayed by “Zane” and Clovers' future plans to play boring board games and presume he might be a non-human Reptunan.
The art is vibrantly colored, playfully animated, and so crisp.
