Your current 'sins' if we go with that fill a need. Give them up and something else will fill the need, better to find something else to fill the gap. That said, I can't think of anything to replace the creative joy of self expression, let alone the joy of sharing your creation with people. As for 'sin' I can think of a lot worse than making people laugh. We all know it's fiction and anyone claiming it 'influenced' them would have simply found another comic to drool over.

Well, I'm glad you're not giving it up for lent, it would be a long time to go with out knowing what happens next!! I don't do lent, or religeous easter for that matter either. I don't think my mom really accepts it(that I'm not "christian"), I play along. The candy is fun and such. Spring is much more important to me. It is really hard for many people to accept that you believe differently than they do. Sometimes I am just indifferent about it, I don't care, but other times the things that people say can really hurt. I tell myself it jjust shows how small minded and closed they are but it still hurts at times. Great comic btw! I'm really enjoying it! :)

I understand they did for me for two months I had them. Sounds like you pleasing yourself is a good move. Let the relatives give up stuff for lent. The Goddess will forgive you.
