There's so much I could say about this page, but I don't want to preempt or influence potential comments. So I may just post some info next week.
What I can say is this: I've never rewritten a text as many times as the text on this page.
Thanks for reading & commenting!
EDIT 01/27/10: I posted my more extensive comment in the forums.

JNP: Heh, he's probably just mumbling to himself. Like myself, when I'm wandering through the city like that! :P Thanks for your input, as always. I think I have a pretty clear notion of how this story should end, but there may still be some detours getting there. Talking about that may contain spoilers, so I'll get back to that later. Whether he's evolved or not, well that ultimately depends on whether I myself have evolved since starting this comic. Time will tell. His logic, and some of the other points I've made in this comic, well, they're conflicting views about structure. “signifikat” is a term I took from linguistic theory, explaining language as a structure of symbols. Of course, the term “structure” is applied in many different ways, and it's not as if I'd want to reduce all topics and conflicts in this comic on just one term. Oh, and THE PENCIL IS YOUR FRIEND. :P
Pato: Thank you very much! My angles are off more often than I'd like :P
Zephyrion: Huge thanks for reading all of it, and I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
Peipei, man in black, cda, mmm bacon0: Thanks!

I think the dissolved people are looking at Ed and saying "Why is this guy monologuing?" =p I wonder what made him even make the decision to attempt and rescue her. A small part of him must have finally been influenced by another. He wants to do something somewhat significant :3 Even if by his own logic nothing can be of sorts. I like the way that he simply goes forward towards that goal in full denial the entire time. Oh how we can lie to ourselves to do about anything. If he changes his stance his entire past is a fraud. So he won't accept that he's changed. I just hope he can realize he actually did evolve a tad by the time he finds her (providing he does), if not he may have to do something drastic to prove how much he has NOT changed and how significance, fate, destiny, and all that mumbo jumbo is just... well... variables presented by situation I guess XD Knowing this is leading to the finally of the story I'm cross as to whether I want Ed to become more than what he is or if he should stay true to his hard headed character. Something I'm sure a certain writer is possibly still struggling with as well XD Better him than me!!! ;-) And yes, I see you are rubbing in my face that you can draw on paper with all those pencil lines. >:(
