Chapter 6 Prologue 6

And that concludes the final prologue! The 6th chapter will touch on what's been happening in this and the past prologues and hopefully weave some loose strands together in a satisfying way, but I'd also appreciate your reading these as little standalone comics.

This particular prologue has most notably been influenced by Joe Kubert's work on TOR (a recent fav of mine), the current CONAN comic book series from Dark Horse, and (of course) 2001. Although unlike in 2001, it's not the discovery/invention of tools/weapons which speeds up evolution…

This is EXACTLY the kind of comment I always hope to get… because personally, I love stories which go over my head, but in which I can immerse myself… in which the complexity that goes over my head is not just a result of randomness, but of something meaningful and enigmatic which I hope to someday understand. And my greatest hope is that I can produce something like that myself.
