not much to say about this one, but I wanna say thanks to everyone who's faved this, or those who read despite not being a member of DD! this is the first time I've ever seriously tried to do an ongoing comic, so the positive response is really helping my confidence! you guys're awesome.

aww, thank you! you give the best comments, seriously. I was mainly inspired by the memory vaults from the game Psychonauts (they're even in sepia and have a papery look to them), and the first hour or so of WALL-E. I was actually intending this to be way more serious in tone, but I realized cartoony humor was much more my thing and I could produce it much easier.

So the ghost...doesn't want to eat brains? I hope not... Guh... I've always enjoyed silent comics. I think they can be more involving because the readers need to use their brains more often to figure out whats going on (one of the reasons I love Tsutomu Nihei's "BLAME!"), thereby making that story feel more like a world of its own the reader is living in, rather then just viewing what's going on. That isn't to say dialogue ruins a story; no, no. I think there are different kinds of comics, and different ways to do them well. I think you're doing a cool job with Silencethecomic. Bravo and keeep goooingggg! OM NOM NOM.
