SS2 05 Janey talks about her mum

To be honest I'm overwhelmed at the response to SS 2. It seems to have grabbed a lot more attention just lately and I have been staggered to see it suddenly jump up in both the Topweb and DD charts the last couple of weeks. But I know that SS would not look as good today or be as popular if it wasn't for the help of dear Em, who has not only given me immense help in the past, teaching me how to do links and stuff and explaining all the compy jargon that used to baffle me!lol but also for breathing life into SS with her talented colouring. Thanks Em for everything
I must just mention that her own comic MY SCHOOL NURSEis up and running again for those of you, who like me have been waiting for it for so long!

Sounds like my own mother. ._. She's such a homophobe. =-= It's the only thing about her that bugs me. I think it's harder to get parents into accepting homosexuality when they're all religious, though. Oi. Honestly. Love is love, gender shouldn't be such a huge deal. How irritating. Anywho. Nice page.. like always. :3

Omg two pages! I don't know how I missed the last one but I"m overwhelmed with both of them. So delicate, so brilliantly written and drawn and of course, so tenderly coloured. You two have way too much talent for your own good, I'm afraid i"m going to have to lock you in a room with each other and force you to draw day in day out for ETERNTITY... muahahahaha. Lucky for you I can't afford the air fare. You know what, Janey's Mum will get over it when she finds out. I mean sure, they explode at first (not my mum thank god) but then they just settle down and get used to it. I wonder what Sarah's parents will think... hmm.... where was that kiss?

Ooh... I understand where Janey is coming from. I felt that way before I came out to my mom. That's what I love about this comic, I think it's easy for a lot of lesbian girls to relate to.

I can only hope, but I don't think it's plausible, that her mother would, once she gets over the shock, very understanding. But until I see the next page let me hope so.
