Hi All,
To be honest SS is getting to be a bit of a headache for me now.I love doing it, but it's so time consuming, and at the end of the day I just can't decide if it's really worth it or not. I do know though that I would never have got this far without your wonderful support and your lovely humourous comments so I will always be grateful to you for that.
There is a new comic up which looks very promising , similar to Friction and SS which is well worth a look. It's only a few pages so far, but I know she would appreciate your support as do all the strips on here :) It's called ***CHEMISTRY***

I'm not sure where I stand on Dawn. She is losing her best friend and I know from experience that this is painful. She also is - like so very many people are, so you shouldn't judge her for this - a bit of a homophobe. That doesn't make her a bad person, it just makes her uneducated. Well, I can't go on more because my shoulder hurts, so I'll leave it there.

We Brits are all a bit down in the dark months and now that Christmas is over there's nothing to look forward to so I can well understand a lack of enthusiasm. For what it's worth I'm yet another of your fans and, were you to stop SS, I would be gutted.

Sustained excellence is difficult. I'll vote for you on TWC while you go away and dream up new storylines and build up a buffer, and generally make S_S something that's fresh and fun for you rather than a chore (because it's never stale!) If everyone votes too, your TWC rating shouldn't suffer too much. When you choose to return, remember buzzcomix.net - you might like to build up a rating there too. Keeping up your TWC rating is a good idea, in case you ever decide to do cafépress t-shirts and mugs and stuff to sell at the Bristol Comics do. Enjoy your holiday!

While I understand how gruelling these things can be (being a writer of fan fiction... and with two unfinished stories *sheepish look*), I um.. I FORBID YOU TO STOP. Quit work, school and all family/social life if you must but not this!!! Ok, Ok, you can ... take breaks, or give up or... it'll all make me cry, I just love this comic so. YOu really do have incredible talent you know. *sigh* is there anything we can do to help? We can come at you with all kinds of compliments. They'll all be genuine. I can throw a panda at you!! ANYTHING!!!

Noooooo! Don't stop updating SS. It's so good! I can understand feeling tired or burned out on a comic though. : \ Maybe you need to take a longer break. I had to do that with my own comic for a while, but when I came back to it I found I was more determined than ever to keep working on it.

Umm i know that piccadilly circus is a place in London so i suppose its that or an area, tbh i thought it was the square you see at the christmas update, so for some reason i got in my head it was called Piccadilly square, so maybe thats it? in either case im positive it is a place.. area.. spot... yeah.

Oh, it's definitely worth doing. It's a Very Good Story. I hope in fact that Sarah will be able to tell Dawn the truth. I mean they used to be best friends and I would like it if the could stay that. The jumper indeed is cool. :) Dawn looks cute in it.

Everyone needs a break at some point, Sky. Take one; you more than deserve it. As for the comic, I'm glad Dawn didn't just up and say she saw them kissing. I really hope that the narrative requirement doesn't force her to be the one to out them.

Aw, I always think like that with my comic, and no wonder with the limited praise it gets, but I'm thankful for the praise I do get and I've made friends through it like you and then I realize I want to share the story with everyone. And look how happy everyone gets when you make a new page, I doubt a published author gets as much attention as we web comic authors sometimes. But that also means you can take a break if you need to, so maybe you can try to update once a week or every two weeks. See whats best for you. I'll be there for you! PS, whats so strange to Dawn to see Janey and Sarah together? I mean who takes a boyfriend shopping without having them cry :P

I have totally been there with all of my comics, and there are days when I just want to stop doing it completely. I hope you don't quit. Cut back if you must, but you are so very talented and this is such a wonderful story.

I see an overly observant friend! And awww...I know what you mean, Sare. Full work loads are a pain to begin with...I think people like us get to claim a masochist trophy!
