Read some of the comments and had to look at the last panel again. Looks more like Sarah's mum is thinking of what her husbands' response will be, and also thinking about the hard times Sarah (and Janey) will have to overcome in the future

wow, i just want to cry. I'm only bi, but when I got serious with a girl in highschool I had to tell my family....not everyone was so receptive. YAY!!! for Sarah's Mom!

YAY! Sarah's mom isn't getting angry at her! Although it looks like her mom doesn't like the idea. I hope things don't go out of whack later... :( I kinda like Sarah better with her hair down though.

I'm pretty worried about the mom. I'm glad I'm not the only one. When you see her face when Sarah isn't looking at her, you can see just how much she doesn't like it. It really makes me feel sympathetic towards Sarah (and anger towards her mom). That's life though.

Aw these mother daughter scenes keep making me cry :( I like how Sarah is taking her mom's feelings into consideration instead of just getting angry at her for not understanding. Very nice page :)
