Aww how cute, now Sarah gets to return the favour to Janey :D Iamabub has a legitimate concern and has the right to voice it (unless SkyAngel says otherwise), but everyone has the right to make the same errors, maybe by 'going at it like a pair of over-eager ferrets' will bring them closer together, and if it doesn't, at least they had fun once (or how many times before things turn sour). They also have to understand that this is just a comic and as such, not real. Anyone who takes what they read in a comic (or see on TV/Movies) and copies them is an idiot

P.S. When I say messed around with, I mean that I believe sex is something that should be saved for when a couple knows they are madly in love, and as far as this comic is concerned, it is far too early for a reader to be able to see that between Sarah and Janey. All I've seen so far is a high school fling--they haven't had to push through any hardships together, haven't done anything for each other, really, other than flirt around and goof off. Just because they've been dating for three months does not make this true love. They are in high school. I have only ever seen high school love work twice in my life, and one of those couples didn't even go to my school. And FYI, the other couple was lesbian.

NFSW: I KNOW they are in England. And I am not talking about the law, I am talking about what I feel is a moral devaluing of sex. I am in o way a conservative, but after what I've seen my friends go through, I do not believe it is something to be messed around with. Okay? It doesn't matter if it's legal or not, in some US states, the age of consent is fourteen, but that doesn't make it right, nor does it make it good for the teens who partake in it. Just because something is legal does not mean it is okay. Surely you know that.

Iamabub, Skyangel has references to England in almost every frame - like the mains plugs (or "power points") and in EnglandandWales, homosexual relationships are legal at the age of 16. Skyangel is erring on the side of excessive political correctness by waiting until their 16th birthdays before showing S&J being friendly (nothing has actually been shown yet) or drinking. In the quiet English rural town where I live - no hotbed of homosexual fornication or binge-drinking - teenagers are introduced (usually by their parents) to sensible drinking at about 14, and relationships and cannabis become part of everyday life not long after. The heavens haven't fallen. Skyangel is being *conservative* about English teenage life. C'mon Sky, when are they going to a rave? :-)

...okay not to be a prude or anything, but those girls are WAY too young to be just randomly screwing off like that. Trust me, I have experience with this stuff, and it is NOT something to play around with, even if "everyone is doing it." And, to all you who think Sarah is doing something cool by pretending to "not understand what her mother is saying," it most certainly is not cool. Sarah is taking advantage of her mother's kindness and that is a really cruel thing to do with her mother's trust. Because of that and the way they are disregarding sex, I do NOT think this sends a good message to teen girls. I have friends who lost their virginity to someone they THOUGHT they loved at 15-16 and regretted it really badly later. I'm just saying here. I value sex highly and am just SICK of girls throwing it around like it's free candy. I'm not a naggy adult. I am a teenager.
