The story so far:
Stacey was an abused child and it was Geraldines own mother who was a social worker at the time and also in a key position to protect her, but failed to believe the girl's story. As a result Stacey took out her resentment on Geraldine as a way of punishing the mother. When Sarah discovered all this years later and brought it to the surface, Geraldine's mum has vowed to make amends by taking care of Stacey now who is facing withdrawal from a drug addiction and in need of an abortion. Geraldine though still has a grudge with Stacey about the bullying she suffered during her own school years..

Amber: Yes, you're so right. Still waters run deep and Geraldine has shown once before that she has a pretty dark side when she made plans to poison her ex g/f's horse. Tommym: Yes I know. I thought it would be cool to give Geraldine and Stacey the chance to swap roles. I think you'll find it interesting :)

Carora13 and Arici: :) I've thought about this several times and at first I'll be honest and say I felt it was a definite no-no. The recent Gerry/Stacey storyline you're about to read prompted other ideas and I have teetered on the idea so much this week but somehow making Stacey/Gerry a couple seems too neat and maybe a bit unrealistic. IDK I keep turning it over and still always feel it shouldn't happen! lol

Sorry I'm late responding this week folks. This seemed such a low key page that I hadn't expected so much excitement from you all! Steve: yea, not to spoil things too much but in the next chapter Sarah decides to help Nikki go back over 'her' story and replace the guesswork with her own real experiences where possible so tales like the one Geraldine is about to tell will still come to him through Sarah as she is hearing it first.

Dear Sky, Gerry being Stacys' boss? Thats' like a lamb being in charge of a wolf. I am thinking Stacy spends her time making hay with someone in the barn instead of pitching hay. tommym

Great first panel! And so intriguing too, I want to know what happened so badly. We saw a little of Gerry's dark side about Caroline's horse, but she never went through with it. I wonder what she did to Stacey...

Oh God. Gerry can be evil? Who would've thought. I'm not buying the Gerry-and-Stacey-hook-up thing, wouldn't make any sense (unless explained _very_ well!). I would expect something like blackmailing... Anyhow, love the panels on this page! Especially the background art is very beautifully done! Also, I'm always amazed at the spectacular storylining.

@carora13 Maybe you're just looking forward to another warning page, since the last one was so beautifully drawn (and coloured). ;-) It does seem that's the direction we're heading in but it's bit of a jump for Stacey. Or maybe the bullying, drug taking and the rest were just symptoms of her internal struggle. Whatever. It is about time something nice happened to Gerry, but I can't imagine Sky will pave the road totally smoothly. Look forward to next week.

As far as this page goes UH...Ooopsie????? Now then just read the answers to all the comments from last week, you have now written what is know as a,"predestination paradox, or a causality loop" in Sci-Fi circles. In this case the Author is being written about by one of the characters they created who is authoring the medium we are reading, while the author also reads, reacts in and to it. How is Sarah going to feel about Nick or Niki watching while she and Janey make love especially with the infamous strap-on? *Reaches for the bottle of Ibuprofen*
