Lots of exciting things this week!
First Emi did a really gorgeous piece of art showing Stacey and Gerry sharing a cuddle which is completely unlikely at the moment considering Gerry's pent up resentment towards her, but who knows ..:) I know some of you relish the thought of Stacey and Gerry becoming an item so this fantasy pic of Emi's is really for you guys ;)….(That's in the FANART drawer on the left)
Secondly, another first for the wardrobe dept, a costume designed by Cath for Nikki!!! It's Nikki's first ever reader designed outfit, and it's a lovely one too, so Nikki fans will no doubt be interested to give that one a look. Hopefully I'll be able to have her in that for a nice party at xmas….(That's in the READER'S OUTFITS drawer below the Fanart one)
Lots of mixed views about Gerry's attitude and behaviour last week which made fascinating reading. As with all my characters, nobody's perfect and we are all often led by emotions rather than common sense at times so what's right and wrong is always at the readers own interpretation. I personally could never do what Gerry's doing because like Sarah and many of you I'd rather have Stacey as a friend or just not want to know her at all and it would be her decision not mine, but I must admit I've done petty things in my past out of anger which I really regretted after and would rather forget so it's kind of nice to let Gerry show that evil streak in her too. Darkvisor reminded us last week that Stacey is pregnant and as you can see it's making things look very bad for Gerry. Will she continue to let malice rule her thoughts or will she admit she has behaved foolishly? Find out next week!

Wow, if Stacey does have that idea in mind, she's even more twisted than we thought. It seems hard to think that she is planning that, sicne she really needs to make amends since Gerry's parents are giving her a safehouse, but then saying that I wouldn't want to put that sort of scheming past her. Nonetheless, back out Gerry!

I think it could be very plausible. Maybe all of Stacey's obnoxious and self destructive behaviour are just symptoms of her being a self loathing closet case. The drug taking is anger directed inwards and the bullying is projecting her self loathing onto another convenient target. It's usually the loudest homophobes who are compensating for something. Witness Larry Craig: vocally anti-gay, and then arrested for trolling in an airport toilet. If Stacey ever did come to accept herself I can see the whole dynamic of their relationship changing. Gerry is the more tomboyish of the two, so they could be quite believable as a soft butch/femme couple. And, as I said before, it's about time something nice happened to Gerry.

Can understand Stace doing what she is doing, even if she wasn't pregnant: Stacey is totally in the control position at the moment (whether she's doing it because she's pregnant and hoping to level the guilt of the abortion on Gerry or for other reasons we will have to wait until next time). }{ Can also see Gerry & Stacey being in a relationship (baby included), and it being a totally healthy one as well

Bully X Bullied relationships are all too common. The term for the good ones is DomSub. The bad ones are what give police departments and social services job security and a renewed budget.

I think they'd make a good couple after they get things worked out, which I hope happens! I've been wanting to see a GerryxStacey pairing since I've read their stories.

I don't think Stacey and Gerry would make a good couple. The bully and the bullied would never work out right. I think Gerry and Nick would be a much better couple, not because he's a guy, but because of the turmoil they've both endured and the teasing and bullying. Anyone else agree with me?

Surprise, surprise - Stacey wins. I do hope Gerry will come to her sense, because obviously at this point she's no better than Stacey (who is still being an arse in any case). Come on, ladies, just get over it! Apologize to each other and grow up! Love the reader's outfit for Nikki as well as the Stacey/Gerry-couple. Nevertheless I couldn't help but shiver when I first saw it. Gives me goosebumps (not the good kind!) thinking about Gerry and Stacey being together. Also, coloring in Panel #4 is excellent!

The Gerry/Stacey pairing was suggested by Gerry's comment: "There's something I want to tell you... about me and Stacey." I'm sure I'm not the only one it occured to. It is a big leap to go from where we are now to Gerry and Stacey making whoopee in the hayloft, but if anyone can make it plausible, Sky can. Would it go down well with the readers? Probably. I don't think any of us are offended by young ladies getting romantic together.

See the fanart - someone has! Gerry, I wouldn't have thought of that at first either, but dammit, you're probably right. Stacey's just moved on to passive-aggressive bullying. That's pretty fucked up, too. I don't see a pairing, but I'm hoping for a truce...
