SS6 97 The Dig

I spent a couple of hours playing with my mannequin to get a nice worms eye view of Nikki digging a hole in a dramatic perspective before I transposed my sketch to an overlay and realised it didn't really work as a small panel! As a child I was always drawn to the cover arts for their visual impact and thought why can't they do great art like this for the whole comic and I guess this is the same thing, the art was great throughout but just lost it's impact by being reduced. Like watching Star Wars on a mobile phone.

Dogfish is an alternative variety of shark sometimes used. Make sure it is Blue Cod, not Red

"Flake" it's called in Australia. Welsh fish'n'chips shops had a very limited choice - cod and chips or go without, usually. Occasionally you could get a pie or pasty, but they must've been "5 star" ones B-) Our local estate had one of the worst in the known universe, when I was a kid. Oz ones are great.

Well... I half expected them to find the bottle! Show how well you're keeping this on the edge!! I really don't know where it's gonna go from here, and... I'm very much liking that LOL! That first panel is just splendid!

I like that she didn't find it honestly... I'd much rather there always be the possibility of all this 'supernatural' stuff just being in her head... but yet... could maybe be real! So, never any hard-fact reveals!

Kim: I was a little torn here because finding the bottle rather confirms everything Sarah imagined WAS real and not finding it seems more realistic as things in real life rarely turn out as one hoped for. :)

Dear Sky, I must say I am a bit disappointed, they didn't find anything, not even a body (witch would not be funny) Maybe Sarah will trip and fall only to find the witch bottle sticking out from the ground. That is a nice bird's eye view of the site. they look so small in that field. tommym

Tommym: It's interesting to read the disappointment most readers feel here. As I said to Kim, I felt a bit torn as to whether Sarah should find the bottle or not so for now I decided to stick with the way I'm sure it would work out for me while I stall for time. lol
