SS6 99 A change of heart

I'm off work this week and with the last page almost completed on my side of the pond I'm really looking forward to just doing nothing for several days that is not SS related! It's going to feel sooooo nice!
This is also the first time in a long time that I've finished a chapter without feeling like my feet were dragging through mud for the last few pages! I was fine with chapters one and two but each chapter after that, I'd get to the last 10 pages and suddenly it would feel like the clock had slowed right down and I was never going to reach the end. It's an odd state of mind to be in for sure as the urge to get past it makes me less fussy about the art just to get through it. So I feel really relieved this time round that I haven't experienced it again on this chapter.
Next page: Poor Nikki has to suffer Sarah's new found enthusiasm for the search to continue ;)

Dear Sky, Nice girl talk. Hope Janey has a metal detector hanging about, from one of those yard sales. Janey can bring it over to Nikki's flat. The trio might find all sorts of stuff:) Good that you have a few days off Sky, you deserve them as you work very hard putting out SS Thanks tommym

Tommym: I've had a whole week free of not having to think about writing-rewriting scripts or doing the art and it's been a strange feeling as I've become so accustomed to following a fairly disciplined production on each page that I keep thinking that there is something I should be doing!

Hahaha Metal detector it is! Nice touch about the whole conversation, we can see both how Janey gets Sarah's side of the story and her changing mood when she sheds a single tear.

IB: You nailed it! ;) Sarah was ready to throw in the towel after being persauded by her friends that she had imagined the whole thing despite the feeling she wasn't going mad, and now she's suddenly found a sympathetic believer so I felt that was worth a tear. :)
