A few UK comics from the 50's and 60's adopted the idea of a large square, magazine type logo on the front cover instead of a full width horizontal banner like most comics tend to have, this meant the art would have to be ‘L’ shaped to fit the logo. For me, most of the comic art I love most is the cover art, and the way some of the artists used this rigid format to produce some really dramatic art has always impressed me so this year I thought it would be both fun and challenging to play with the same idea every now and then to hopefully add a little extra atmosphere and excitement to each new scene!
sooooo… This is the setting for Sarah's present day story and we will follow her into the theatre with Nikki and sit with them through the show while she reflects upon the events of the last six months. The rude and arrogant woman we see here will also be around for the duration unfortunately but I hope she won't spoil anyone's enjoyment too much ;)

Heh, for awhile (up until just now) believed the concert was "In and of the homeless of Southend" (as in, they were performing with the proceeds going to themselves) rather than "In aid of the homeless of Southend" (where they simply benefit) :P

That old battleship. Figures she'd be around to annoy us for the next 2 years. A lot of motion and excitement worked into that first frame.
