Fruitbat: Maybe if she knows it hurts him to part with his money then she sees her demands as justified. Sarah is very strong on principles so I don't think she would have accepted or even suggested such a deal but Lucy isn't quite so moralistic. Apart from that though you're deduction is spot on ;)
