Hi all,
This will be our last update for 2019 so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas wherever you are and however you choose to spend it, and a special thank-you to those of you who have given our comic such wonderful support and encouragement in our comments section throughout the year! And just a quick reminder too that as readers you may not think it means much but feedback is the life blood of any comic on here so do please give some thought for the quieter ones this Christmas and especially the newbies if you read them as it's such a small gesture that can mean so much to the people who make them and it all helps keep the Duck alive and kicking!
As for our story…
As I mentioned at the start of this scene, Sarah is now caught up in a snowball that started with a small irritating remark from Pippa that tipped her mood in the wrong direction and is now becoming wrapped up in her personal issues with her ex- girlfriend Janey, who cheated on her a couple of years ago and now seems to be the star attraction! How can that be fair?!! She's with Lucy now anyway too so why should she care? you may ask and that's probably the question which even Sarah herself is having problems with at the moment.

"Maybe Pippa put in a good word for her" and "Gold star indeed" . . . Sarah is definitely fuming. And as Sky said so nicely, she has some questions that need answering and that the moment all she's got his a lot of irritation. But in the meanwhile …………………. Merry Christmas to Sky, Bex and all the readers of Simply Sarah! As Tiny Tim would say, "God bless us one an all!"

I'm hoping that's maybe a rosé (but in a Collins glass?) Sarah's belting down there and not pink gin! Of course I've been known to make social errors when drinking wine, too, in my day.

"but feedback is the life blood of any comic on here' - as a sufferer from 'anaemia', in this respect, when I was 'live' here... B-) ... I think the 'small gesture' is a great idea. Yours is still one of the few getting a good, regular multiple responses. Merry Xmas, etc., everyone !
