SS7 74 Not so dead

The story so far: Lenore has been avidly pursued by a Witch hunter who left a small group of men and two hunting dogs camped out at the site of her child's grave, which she visits frequently. When she last appeared they set the dogs on her who appeared to catch her and rip her to bits..

This is just a quick catch-up on the Lenore story to keep it alive and moving still. Next week I imagine most of you will be pleased to know that we will be going back to Sarah and Janey again to see what happened between them in those last 3 weeks before the start of this whole story.
If any readers still love a bit of romance in your stories then the coming pages are for you guys especially ;)

Coydog: Very true! Becky is a huge dog lover too so instead of killing them I just made them sick. They will make a full recovery though once they leave Lenore alone! :)

Well I'm glad that Lenore didn't get chomped. Now is this what happened, or what Sarah imagines happened? And just who was the woman in Page 5, the one who didn't seem to leave footprints in the snow?

Fruitbat: This is the question even Sarah doesn't know the answer to any more. She started out believing she was some sort of conduit for Lenore's troubled spirit, thinking Lenore wanted her to find the witch bottle which prevents her from visiting her daughters grave, but as the search for the bottle has been fruitless Sarah now accepts it may have mostly been a product of her own overactive imagination. But we still have a number of pages left which will lead us back to that woman at the beginning.

Tommym: I like to think Lenore only shows her true strength when she is really angry, as she did with Lord Carlingford. These three men are just paid hands who have merely irritated her until now but her patience has reached it's limit. :)
