SS7 78 A Sense of Loss

That's the end of Sarah and Janey for now as we move back onto the Lenore story for a couple of pages.

Good news is that my anthology pages are completed but I haven't heard anything from the Duck regarding the set milestones since the first ‘You’re in!' email so I'm thinking the project has faltered somewhere along the line! But if it's fallen through it'll mean I can share the story with you guys as some kind of Christmas treat instead! :)

Fred mentioned last week about drawing faces and I replied how I find myself relating to the emotions I'm drawing. I get that with writing too, probably more so because you are living in that moment for the whole time you keep reading and rewriting that scene and it can feel so intensely emotional at times that I'll come away with watery or red rimmed eyes trying to explain I'm not really upset about anything!
It does feel very therapeutic though especially at this present time with all the other real life fears and concerns going on around us to be able to escape to another place mentally. You don't have to do it through art because as I say, writing and the use of words is for me a much more powerful way to explore my own emotions anyway and words are far more direct, so I would totally recommend to anyone whose never tried, just to have a go at writing a short piece about anything, maybe even an essay type piece about some time in your life that meant a lot to you just so you can see how those emotions and memories start coming out when you return to that moment. If you do come out with something you think is worth sharing we could always post it in this editorial for our other readers to see and respond too, even anonymously if you prefer!

Anyways, have a nice week and I guess we'll see you around next weekend again some time :)
