SS7 159 Nikki and Kim

I've had to skimp on Nikki's new relationship a bit for two reasons, mainly because we always see everything from Sarah's point of view anyway unless events are related back to her as flashbacks and secondly it felt more important to keep up with Sarah and Janey at this stage.
We will be seeing more of Kim as they all prepare to attend Gerry and Sasha's wedding but there's really not enough time to explore Kim's character in any great depth or how she relates to Nikki other than they are both really perfect for each other.
Next week though we find out how Sarah feels now she's suddenly seeing so little of Nikki!

Since I'm reading this knowing how many pages are left, the speculation is kiling me! My mind is doing all kind of calculations... but luckily I'm really enjoying it as well. Your poetic writing and scenery are always a delight. I'm so reading it again!

Yea, the castle is looking over the beach! That's Portmeirion in Wales where the TV show The Prisoner was filmed XD And yea, it seemed fun to have Nikki drawing this weeks page!

This is a fantastic outcome for Nikki! I would be happy to read an extra chapter on her and Kim but I totally understand that you have been planning to wrap this comic up. :)

I would find her life plenty interesting to read! But really, I'm going to subscribe to any comic you next start. :) Even a mini-comic featuring any of the characters in Simply Sarah would be quite enjoyable.

Gemi: If there was enough interest I would consider doing a spin off comic for Nikki dealing in more detail with some of the most important moments of her life to date from school days, to getting married and then meeting Sarah and Janey for the first time etc. I'm just not sure that her life would be as interesting to readers as Sarah's has been.

Awww. That's nice. Okay a part of me does wonder if this is somewhat stretching the definition of lesbian . . . but OTOH love is love, and people are what they are, even if they don't neatly fit into categories. And if Nicki and Kim ever want to start a family, they won't have too far to look for a sperm donor . . . :) Anyway, I hope it all woks out for Nikki & Kim, and that Sarah doesn't feel too neglected.

Fruitbat: I'm rather going with the idea that Kim is pansexual/ bisexual and therefore is happy for Nikki to be whatever she wants to be and as you say love is love :)
