Like most of us, creating has always baffled me. I started writing stories since I learned to write a sentence. I consider myself a writer and then a graphic artist. Drawing for me started after analyzing if drinking and partying was a life style to follow until the end of my days, or, if something else was necessary. It took a few months and a some failed relationships to understand that using pencils and paper was my passion. It became a jealous and furious passion. My first ideas were to draw nothing but human figure. I had always loved manga style art and of course anime and manga, but to create in that style would take a little longer for me. A year went by and I felt somewhat comfortable to start playing with the figure in such a way that I could exaggerate it, and use so many styles and techniques to create manga style ilustrations and now a comic. Whatever free course I've been able to attend I have. On line courses mostly. No diploma to show for it since my income is not made in dollars and can't really afford to actively participate in the paid programs, seminars or webinars that are out there. I owe a great deal to mr. Andrew Loomis, as well as Michael Hampton. The first for all his books, the latter for his figure drawing book and his youtube videos, as well as Mark Crilley, who actually helped me lose my fear for drawing manga style.
This I write with my first attempt in getting the public's attention towards my creations. As green as I am at this moment I can only say that I want to keep drawing.
