My comics are my passion. My love of CGI is equally strong. Before you try to tell me it's “lazy,” you'd better be a better computer artist than I am, and I don't mean with 2D programs, either! Don't knock it until you've tried it or don't comment.
One thing that sets my comics apart is having real people as some of the characters. This includes me personally. During the making of the earliest books I realized I didn't want to use mere stock models for my crowds. Instead, I began to invite fans to become characters. Though not always critical to the stories, this adds a level of personalization for some fans that's unique to these books. It also allows me to sneak in Alfred Hitchcock style, creating a little side game in the books of “where's the author?”
My plush action figures are also my passion and go very well with my books. They're 11“ and 12” tall mostly and posable thanks to a wire armature in their bodies. Despite this, they're soft and able to be cuddled and gently played with. All the characters are in the shop of the official site, so go ahead!
