About

Alright-righty-roo. So Im quite new to this comic-making scene. As you can see from my very first, Quaranteen, things are very basic with me.

I first gained interest in comics when I was about six years old, after my parents separated and my mom and I went to live with grandparents in their apartment. They had a box BURSTING with old comics, most of which have (sadly) been thrown out, some of which Ive decided to keep.

I eventually got into the habit of searching abandoned cardboard boxes in my house and ended up finding more comics. Ive always had a love for them, just as I have a love for movies. I see my world as a film and a comic strip rolled into one neat bundle.

Movieola, a channel that I miss dearly, and the National Film Board of Canada were both great influences on my creativity, even if I was quite young at the time. I like the dark humour, the closed-in looks at certain situations with an artistic touch. The world has billions of things going on at the same time, and its nice to get a close look at a thing or two.

Fast forward about ten years from my discovery of the comics in the box, and you have me, in the public library, discovering the graphic novel section. It was like finding heaven. It was at that moment I knew I was destined to do some form of comic-esque art.

Now, here I am on drunkduck.com.
