Adam Hours is an American thirty-something artist living in Washington DC. After years of plotting, planning, doubting, stopping, rebooting and drawing he has finally started this webcomic. He has been active in the arts community for over a decade working in many positions; from an assistant museum curator, public school teacher, college instructor, graphic designer, community arts programmer and art juror.
Adam has always been an active artist and creator. His first work, which one day he will scan in and perhaps allow others to see, was his revision of Transformers the movie. Disappointed at the age of 7 in seeing his hero Optimus Prime die in the first 30 minutes of the film, he created an arc where Prime didnt die until the very end, sacrificing himself to destroy the evil Unicron. Unfortunately, the Matrix was shattered into pieces each flung throughout the furthest corners of the cosmos, thus leading to a sequel where the remaining Autobots and Decepticons race to find the pieces of The Matrix for the fate of the universe. He started the sequel, but never got the chance to finish it as by then he had discovered Robotech and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which lead to comic books, anime and manga and eventually to where we are today.
His art is multimedia based as his inspiration comes from the pop culture of filmaking, video games, eastern and western comic books and animation.
