Michael's published comics credits include Wiindows #5 and DoorMan #1 for Cult Press, DoorMan: Family Secrets #1-4and Negative Burn #36 for Caliber Comics, Test Drive #1 for MAIN Publishing, Cynosure #4 from Cynosure Comics, and No Justice, No Piece #1, a CBLDF benefitfrom Head Press. Michael also co-wrote a two part unpublished story for Jim Lee's WildStorm Studios at Image Comics with comics writer and novelist Jeff Mariotte. In addition, Michael was head writer and reviewer for the Footprint Media family of gaming websites, which included allXbox.com and allPS2.com.

After a several-year hiatus from writing, Michael began his Public Domain blog (www.michaelallanleonard.wordpress.com) in 2012, and in 2013formed Chimeratron Press to publish new comics and fiction. Michaelrecently co-founded of Vintage Robo Design Co. with DoorMan artist and co-creator James E. ‘Doodle’ Lyle to create retro-styledcomic and nerd styled prints, tees, and other merchandise.

Michael lives in Western Pennsylvania, original home of the George Romerozombie apocalypse. His influences include Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, William Gibson, the strange fun of Golden and Silver Age comics, the Ramones and excessive amounts of coffee.
