Mimi died when she was 11 and has been slipping away from purgatory to go to the Demons Agency, where the soul catcher Lanchaster works. After spending years pestering him to make her a demon, with small things like dead squirrels, Lanchaster gives up and gives her a list of tasks she can do to be sent to the demons academy.
