Marching refers to the organised, uniformed, steady and rhythmic walking forward, usually associated with military troops.
Marching is often performed to march music, and often associated military parades.
Marching is part of basic training in the military in most countries. In most cases, marching uses a system of drill commands. Learning to march by obeying commands is considered a form of discipline.
Hypnosis is defined as a trance-like state of intense concentration that resembles sleep. It is believed to be induced by a hypnotist, whose suggestions are readily accepted by their subject. Some supposed hypnotic indicators and subjective changes in mental state can be achieved without relaxation or a lengthy induction by means of simple suggestion or waking hypnosis, a fact that increases the controversy and the misunderstandings which exist around hypnosis and the hypnotic state. However there is also considerable controversy over whether there is any such thing as hypnosis at all or whether the term merely merges unrelated phenomena and lacks a scientific basis. Many of the effects produced by ‘hypnosis’ have several alternate theories to describe their occurrence.
